Linda Price
Linda serves children and adolescents from pre-school through high school with consultation to their families and schools. She specializes in working with students with Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, Nonverbal Learning Disability, Pervasive Developmental Delay, High Functioning Autism and other learning differences.
Linda has completed the course, "Training for Group Instruction in the Social Use of Language" at Antioch New England Graduate School taught by Elsa Abele, CCC, SLP in April 2006.
Linda regularly attends conferences to keep her updated about best practices with a particular focus on social skills and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Linda also presents workshops on social skills to various organizations and parents.
Linda Price has extensive experience with leading groups, counseling students, evaluating students' social-emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and academic functioning, and generating appropriate recommendations for over a decade in the schools, as well as at Andover Counseling Center for almost five years.
While at Andover Counseling Center, Linda coordinated and ran the social skills groups, provided consultation to parents, school staff, and mental health professionals, as well as conducted psycho-educational evaluations.
Linda successfully completed Color Me Yoga TM for Children Teacher Training in November 2004. She incorporates creative activities and relaxation techniques for sensory integration and anxiety reduction.
Linda Price is a Licensed Educational Psychologist in MA and a Certified School Psychologist in MA & NH.
Immediately after graduate school, Linda worked as a School Psychologist in Exeter, NH. Linda was the Director of Psychological Services in the Hudson, NH School District for seven years. During this time, she co-authored two assessment articles that were published in professional journals.
Linda earned her Master's of Education Degree in School Adjustment Counseling and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology in 1993 at Northeastern University.
During graduate school, Linda had numerous clinical experiences and school internships in Massachusetts and New Hampshire:
